What is AICTE?
All India Council for technical education and management is a statutory body set up by the Government of India. This institution has been constituted with a view to promote quality technical education, get involved in planning and coordinated development of technical education system also work on regulations and maintenance of norms and standards.
On the notification of 1st May it is notified that the examination will be held taking care of following circumstances;
- Ensuring the health, safety and security of the students, faculty and super visors to continue academic activities.
- Conducting the examination and declaration of results.
- Facilitating the students to participate in further admission, placement, research and training etc.
- Charting out a plan for the next academic session
Courses offered by AICTE
This year AICTE has Offered 49 Free E-learning courses for every student out there.
Courses which cover Diploma in machine learning studio and Machine learning using python, Computer, IT electronics and other software related branches, Mechanical engineering related branches etc.
AICTE provides a co-ordinated effort for development and planning of technical education in India. It is primarily the accrediting authority for institutions, including schools and colleges giving diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate education. Apart from the accreditation, AICTE also has major involvement in training, research and development of technical education in the country, which includes the variety of study areas like commerce and industry trade, science and engineering, medicine and healthcare, arts, environment, architecture, vocational studies, management, hospitality, food science and many more.
AICTE has its eight sub departments: 1. Administrative Bureau, 2. Academic Bureau, 3. Engineering & Tech Bureau, 4. Finance Bureau, 5. Management and Technology Bureau, 6. Planning and Coordination Bureau, 7. Quality Assurance Bureau, and 8. Research & Institutional Development Bureau.
AICTE is based in New Delhi. AICTE has its various operational regional offices in different cities such as Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kanpur, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kolkata. The present chairman is Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe.
