College Overview

MDI – M is a great place in east India to do mba/pgpm. Green infrastructure, large playgrounds, Bloomberg terminal, digital classroom, gymnasium, restaurant, single bedroom with high class amenities are the key points to spend your two years college life lavishly.
The best thing I love about our college is the calm & quiet ambience. But I think the college need to improve the system of placement which is not upto the mark because of the location. Many companies didn’t visit for campus hiring because of the long distance from main city. Though, most of the campus placements were done through internet.

Faculties Quality and their way of teaching

Faculties of Finance & Operations are really great and their teaching skills are upto the mark. But personally I don’t have any great experience from inhouse Marketing faculties as I don’t get their teaching style. Though many guest faculties from IIM, IIT, IIFT & MDI Gurgaon visit for lecture.

Internship Details

My internship experience was good. I did my internship in GMI Research, Gurgaon. This is a startup of market research and has great scope for learning. I got this opportunity through campus placement.

Your Hostel life and Mess facilities

The hostel life is great because of large infrastructure with green & natural ambience. The quality of food is much better than any hostel/mess. The mess is driven by students and menus are set by themselves. So, you can add your favorite dishes at any time which will give you the feeling like home.
Students have single sharing room with balcony which is the best for having personal space.

Final Placement Details

The placement was not good in 2018-20 batch because most of the offers are revoked due to covid-19. Though the placement committee was able to placed only 80% students out of them only 20% students got offer for joining. Others manage to get job by themselves.
